In this essay has been aimed a general overview of theories which try to explain mass behaviour in discipline of social psychology. Mass behaviour can be explained with the dichotomy of ‘group against individual’. In essay mass behaviour will be analyzed within the framework of both theoretical models approaching from ‘group mind’ and ‘individualistic’ perspectives and ‘social identity’ approach has an assertion to surpass that dichotomy.
