Languages and Political Authorities in the Modern Era
In this presentation, relationships and interactions among the cases of “modern era”, “political authorities”, and “languages” are addressed on the basis of analytical review. In that context, discussing issues such as: 1. The place and functions of language in the space of socio-cultural reality, 2. The paradigm of modernity, 3. The problematique of language in the modern national-states, and 4. The reactions against the denialist and effacer politics of modern states and some recommendations.
